NC Child, in partnership with the North Carolina Institute of Medicine, is hosting the 2015 Child Health Summit on March 9, 2015 to celebrate 20 years of the Child Health Report Card and 20 years of progress in children’s health!
For two decades the Child Health Report Card has been an important tool in our work to promote children’s health and well-being in North Carolina. We have made tremendous progress — from dramatic reductions in youth smoking and teen pregnancy to a remarkable increase in the percentage of children with health insurance.
At the Statewide Child Health Summit, the states leading experts will convene to examine program and policy innovations over the past 20 years and identify emerging issues in child health and wellness.
