This week as leaders from across the state gather for the 2019 Opioid Summit, these grieving fathers have an urgent message for our state legislators about what’s really at stake. We’re bringing you a video blog to get the message out that health coverage for lower-income people is a critical tool that North Carolina needs to fight the opioid crisis and save lives.
Randy Abbott and Steve Shelton have both lost young adult children to opioid overdoses. Both are passionate voices for the health care coverage that could get thousands of people the treatment they need. If you haven’t watched the video – don’t miss it!
And you can do more: Click here to share it with your state legislators.
